Does the distance matter?
It is the first thing every owner asks, so here is the honest answer. Storm is based in San Diego and more than half the roster is somewhere else. Nobody on this page hired us because we were nearby. They hired us because we had run a salon feed before and could show them what happened.
What actually gets shot inside your salon is a phone, held by your own team, on a plan we write. What happens after that is ours.
Working with a salon agency outside your city.
Do you work with salons in my city?
Almost certainly. Storm runs salon social media across the United States and works remotely with every client. We currently run feeds for salons in Libertyville IL, Colorado Springs CO, Denver CO, Brea CA, San Diego CA, Huntington Beach CA, Roseville CA, Collingswood NJ, Moorestown NJ, Marlton NJ, Houston TX, Kirkland WA. You do not need a Storm office in your city.
Do I need a local social media agency for my salon?
No. The work that grows a salon feed is content direction, writing, editing and posting, and none of it requires someone in the building. What matters far more is whether the agency has run a salon before. A local generalist who has never sat through a color correction will cost you more in explaining than the distance ever will.
How do you shoot content if you are not in my salon?
We tell your team exactly what to capture between clients, and most of it comes off a phone. We plan the month, direct the shots, and cut everything ourselves. For salons that want it, we also travel for shoot days.
Do you only work with salons in California?
No. Storm is based in San Diego, California, and most of the roster is outside the state, including Illinois, Colorado, New Jersey, Texas and Washington.
