Social media for hair extension artists.

Storm runs Instagram and Facebook for independent extension artists: suite renters, booth renters, and specialists who only do extensions. You install, and capture what we ask for between clients. We plan the month, write the captions, cut the before and after, post under your own handle, and hand you the DMs that want a consult. $750 a month for 15 posts, month to month.

Why extensions are different

The sell is the change, and it takes hours.

Extension work is the easiest beauty service to sell on video and the hardest to shoot well. A single photo of the finished install undersells three hours of work and a few hundred dollars of hair. What books an extension client is the before, the process, and the turn at the end, cut so it reads in the first two seconds.

Nobody books an install cold. She watches for weeks, then sends a message asking about hair, price and timing. Your feed is the consult funnel, and the consult is the sale. So every post has one job: get her to write.

Then there is the part most feeds skip. Extension clients come back on a schedule for move-ups, and the feed has to keep the ones you already have as much as it has to find new ones. The maintenance appointment is its own post, because it is the part a new client is nervous about.

Independent

Your DMs are the front desk.

In a suite there is no salon feed behind you, no front desk taking calls, and nobody else posting. Every message that asks about hair is a consult you either answer or lose, and it arrives while your hands are in a row of wefts.

That is the version of this job Storm runs most often. We watch the comments and messages, answer the ones that are questions, and hand you the ones that are trying to book. The install day stays yours. The feed and the inbox stop being a second job.

What we take

Everything after the capture.

The shot list

For every install day: the before, one moment mid process, and the turn. Off your phone, no second person.

The captions

Written in your voice from what you tell us about the client, the method and the hair. Never a template.

The edit

Vertical video cut so the change reads in the first two seconds, which is where an extension post is won or lost.

The posting

Published on a real schedule under your own handle, so the feed keeps going in the weeks between installs.

The consult DMs

We watch comments and messages and hand you the ones asking about hair, price or timing.

Google and reviews

Your Google Business Profile and the review replies, included, because she looks you up there before she spends.

What it costs

One price, the same plan a salon gets.

$750 a month for 15 posts. Month to month, no contract, no termination fee. Smaller volumes are quoted on the call, and a website is $3,500 to build and $100 a month to manage if you need one.

It is not the cheapest thing next to a scheduling app or an hourly freelancer. It is the one where the whole job stops being yours. If your book is already full, keep the money and post when you can. We will say the same on the call.

Common questions

Asked the way extension artists ask.

I am a hair extension artist and I want to outsource my social media marketing to gain new clientele. Who does that?+

Storm does, and that sentence is close to how our extension artists find us. You keep installing. We plan the month, tell you what to capture on install days, write the captions in your voice, cut the before and after, post under your own handle, and hand you the messages that are asking for a consult. $750 a month for 15 posts, month to month.

I am a solo hair extension specialist. Do marketing companies work with someone like me, or only with salons?+

Storm works with both, on the same plan. The stylists we run include solo extension specialists working out of a suite, and the work does not get smaller because the business is one chair. It gets more important, because there is no salon feed behind you.

I work out of a salon suite doing extensions. Can someone post my before and afters and get me booked?+

Yes. A before and after only books when it is shot and cut to read in the first two seconds, and posted on a schedule that keeps you visible between install days. We send you the shot list, you capture it on your phone in the suite, and we do the rest. The consult requests come to your DMs, and we hand you the ones that are ready.

How do I get more extension consultations from Instagram?+

Show the change, not the chair. The before, the process, and the turn at the end, cut so it reads in the first two seconds, with a plain line telling her the next step is a consult. Then answer every message that asks about hair, price or timing. Most extension clients watch for weeks before they write, so the feed has to keep going in the weeks nobody writes.

Do I have to film my own installs?+

Yes, on your phone, and we make that easy. You get a short list of what to capture on each install day, the before, one moment mid process, and the turn. Nothing needs a second person or a ring light. Everything after the capture is ours.

Do you know the difference between hand-tied, tape-in, fusion and sew-in?+

Yes, and it changes what we shoot and write. A hand-tied row, a tape-in sandwich and a fusion bond are different stories, and the move-up appointment is its own post, because it is the part a new client is nervous about. Storm already runs the social for Mermaid Hair Extensions and for solo extension specialists.

What does it cost for one artist?+

Storm is $750 a month for 15 posts, the same plan a salon gets. It covers the content plan, the captions, the posting, the Google Business Profile, the review replies and the comments and DMs. Month to month, no contract, no termination fee. Smaller volumes are quoted on the call. A website is $3,500 to build and $100 a month to manage.

Do you run Facebook and Google too, or only Instagram?+

Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok if you want it, plus your Google Business Profile and the review replies, all under your own name. For an extension artist the Google profile matters more than most stylists expect, because a new client who is about to spend real money looks you up there before she messages.
