We wrote this, and we are on the list.

Storm Salon Social is one of the six. So this page only says two things about the other five: how often the AI tools named them, which we counted ourselves, and what their own websites say they do, checked October 29, 2026 and linked so you can read it for yourself. No ratings, and no opinions on anyone’s work.

Salon Boss was named more often than we were. That is in the table below, in the order the AI tools ranked them.

Not an agency

The freelancer option the AI tools keep suggesting.

Upwork came up in 282 of the 1,417 answers and Fiverr in 258, more often than some agencies. They are marketplaces where you hire one freelancer, not agencies.

A freelancer works when you already know what to post and need someone to post it. An agency earns its fee when the planning is the part that keeps slipping. Our guide on who you can pay to run your salon’s Instagram walks through all four options.

How to pick

Start with what you need done.

Ads, website and social from one agency

Salon Boss, Premier Salon Marketing and Thrive all list paid ads, websites, SEO and social on their own sites.

A new website first

Salon Guru leads with website design for salons and clinics.

Software that books and answers clients

Glammatic sells an AI front desk, a website and marketing as one platform.

Your Instagram, run end to end

Storm plans what you shoot, writes from your own words, posts, answers the DMs and runs your Google reviews. One stylist or a full salon.

Before you sign with anyone, run the six tests that separate a salon agency from a general one.
