Terms of Service
Storm Salon Social, operated by Storm Global, Inc. ("Storm," "we," "us"), is a marketing studio for salons and beauty brands based in California. These terms cover your use of stormsalonsocial.com and the marketing services we provide, including managing social media accounts a client connects to us. By using this site or our services, you agree to these terms.
The service
Storm provides social media management, content creation, brand photography, local SEO, content boosting, and related marketing services for salon and beauty businesses. The specific work, fees, and schedule for any client are set out in a separate service agreement or proposal between Storm and that client. These terms apply alongside that agreement.
Connected accounts
To manage a client's marketing, we may ask the client to connect one or more of their own accounts, such as YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, or Google. Connecting an account happens through that platform's official login (OAuth), and only the account owner can grant access.
- You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
- We access a connected account only to provide the agreed service, for example creating, scheduling, and publishing content, and reporting on results.
- You can disconnect Storm at any time through the platform's settings or by emailing us. See our Privacy Policy for what we access and how we handle it.
Your content
Content a client provides or asks us to publish (photos, video, text) remains the client's property. By giving it to us or asking us to publish it, the client confirms they have the rights to that content and grants Storm permission to use, adapt, and publish it to the client's connected accounts as part of the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our site or services to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or violate the rules of a connected platform (such as the YouTube Terms of Service). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you ask us to publish on your behalf.
Third-party platforms
Our services work on top of platforms we do not control, including YouTube, Google, Meta, and Pinterest. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes, or decisions (for example, if a platform removes content or limits an account).
No warranty
We work hard to deliver good results, but marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Our site and services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee specific results such as rankings, reach, followers, or bookings.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Storm is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the client paid Storm for the service in the three months before the claim.
Termination
Either party may end the service as described in the applicable service agreement. On termination we stop accessing connected accounts and delete stored access tokens. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
